JBA Mobilizes Kenya to Prayer for Healing & Revival
While Kenya was experiencing disasters of post election violence, draughts, political instability, Crime and tribal strives, we saw the need to mobilize the nation to a 40 day prayer and fasting 24 hour watch culminating to the Kenya festival. The bible declares if the people who are called by His name humble themselves and pray he will heal the land and for sure we saw results. We printed 40,000 prayer calendars and distributed them to churches and Christian institutions nationally along with media houses to call attention to prayer and many leaders took it seriously together with their congregations to watch and pray. This culminated with a Prayer Procession from the four corners of Nairobi declaring the Lordship of Christ in the city and nation with Vehicles and Buses finally gathering at Uhuru Park where the Provincial Commissioner Nairobi gave a word of welcome and assuring security to delegates coming from all over the nation to attend Kenya festival. The prayer procession coasted us 1,000,000 ksh all coming from JBA.
Results of this Prayer
1) Clouds gathered as we were praying for the first time after a long time of draught that had led to water and electricity rationing and rains fell heavily as we were finishing the festival conference on Saturday. Since then rains fell filling dams, rivers, lakes and bringing an end to electricity and water rationing marking the end of draught.
2) The Harvest of food in the land is overwhelming all over the country as God heard prayers.
3) The tribal and political tension diminished as the leaders continued to bond through many other initiatives that were birthed.
4) Crime reduced drastically in the nation through the salvation of many gangs’ members and leaders.
5) The Rise of many prayer movements after the collective prayers in the nation through Pastors Fellowship.
6) Visiting international ministers resumed schedules that had been reduced.
7) Ministers and Churches revived up to this day many attribute growth from the blessing of this Historic Prayer movement.
